Everything you need to know about booking your next package ski holiday. From how to book to what to pack for your next ski holiday, we’ve answered all your questions. Whether it’s your first time skiing or you’re an expert on the slopes, we will happily answer any question you have about a ski holiday with Ski Vertigo. And if your question isn’t on the list below, give us a call and we’ll be happy to help!

Prices for a package ski holiday vary depending on whether you're looking for a group holiday or a solo holiday and what time of year you're looking to go. If you head to the slopes in peak season you'll pay a little more for the hustle and bustle than if you head out of season.

Browse our ski resorts, chalets, or seasonal holidays and call us on 01252 365490 to create your bespoke ski holiday package.

First time skiing? We've got you! For your first time skiing, you’ll need:
Ski boots
Helmet
Googles
Glovers
Layers of moisture-wicking clothing
And - of course - your equipment, which you can hire with us.

February is a favourite month for ski lovers across Europe as the weather is great and it coincides with school holidays. Skiing outside of this time is just as enjoyable and challenging on the slopes, with a bit more space to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy the apres ski in peace.

Our ski holidays include return flights and transfers, accommodation in an incredible ski chalet, and all your food and drink on the holiday.

Package ski holidays are great for novice and experienced skiers alike. From group lessons for all the family, to one-to-one tuition with experienced ski instructors. A ski lesson can have you falling in style to rushing the slopes in no time. Ski Vertigo package ski holidays can include lessons for adults and children.

There are outlets that exist that do a hire service. Renting your clothing represents a huge saving over purchase. Some also offer a free ‘try before you fly’ service so you can check everything fits perfectly ahead of your departure.

We do have Wi-Fi in all of our ski chalets, however being up in the mountains our Wi-Fi speed is generally slower than you will be used to at home. This means streaming can be difficult. But who needs streaming when you've got the glorious slopes on your doorstep!
Sending and receiving emails and messages is usually fine as well as internet browsing. The construction of many of our buildings also means that the Wi-Fi is generally limited to the living room areas. We are continuously investing in routers and boosters to improve the service, but sometimes you may experience intermittent service and this is beyond our control.

Towels, bed linen, cot sheets and bedding are provided in all our ski chalets. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in all chalets with a hot tub, sauna or steam room. Towels are changed once during the week, if you wish.

Our chalet menus have been carefully designed by our Executive Chef to serve our guests with imaginative, stylishly-presented, great-tasting cuisine. Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and all our chefs have a passion for what they create.

Our catered ski chalet service includes 7 days of breakfasts, 7 days of afternoon tea and cakes, 6 evenings of 3-course meals including aperitif, canapés plus wine and coffee.

See the sample on our Chalet Catering Page.

Vegetarian meals can be served. This must be reserved at the time of booking and not later than four weeks before departure. Other special diets including gluten-free, dairy, and wheat-free can be provided. This must be confirmed to us at the time of booking at a charge of £30 per person.
All dietary requirements or allergies must be confirmed at the time of booking or in writing not later than four weeks before departure. Please see our terms or talk to our team for more information

You will be advised of your departure time from the chalet while you are on your holiday. This is likely to be around three hours before your scheduled arrival time at the airport, depending on which resort you are staying in and weather and traffic conditions.

Ski Vertigo chalet staff day off is on Wednesdays, although chalet staff day off may change to accommodate Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. You will be informed of this at the time of booking.
In exceptional circumstances e.g. illness, the day off may be altered but you will be informed of any changes by your Resort Manager. On the chalet staff's day off, your breakfast is laid out ready for the morning and afternoon tea is also prepared in advance. We ask that guests clear up afterwards and leave the kitchen ready for the staff the next day. Guests are asked to eat out in the evening and not use the kitchen facilities in the chalet.

If you’ve left any items behind, we’ll try our best to find them and get them sent back to you as soon as possible. Please inform the UK office on 01252 365 490 as soon as possible so that they can arrange the return of your item(s). There is a minimum charge of £20 for returning lost or forgotten items.
